Patrick Connor is currently an international trainer and business consultant. He also presents custom corporate solutions to the business world. He began his career with the Chrysler Corporation before moving into the sales field with Parker-Hannifin Corporation in Detroit Michigan.
In 1984 Patrick opened Patrick M Connor & Associates, Ltd. Presenting Dale Carnegie Training in Hong Kong. There he developed a team of thirty ethnically diverse trainers capable of providing training in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, French and Malay. He expanded into Singapore in 1994 where he continued providing culturally sensitive programs in Sales, customer service and management development.
His adaptability and understanding of people and techniques has made him popular with a wide range of clients. He has trained Olympic coaches, corporate executives, government employees (including the Directorate level of the Hong Kong and Singapore governments), academics, as well as those in manufacturing (automobiles), transportation (aircraft), banking, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and the chemical field. Patrick has personally been involved with the training of over 80,000 individuals over the span of his career and has worked in thirteen countries outside the United States.
Patrick has had several unique training opportunities including, “War College” with top executives of the Pacific rim for Sheraton Hotels on the island of Fiji, a bungee program in New Zealand, with Outward Bound sea course in the South China Sea, an elephant safari in the jungles of northern Thailand in the Golden Triangle with the Club Corporation of Asia, and a special program in Kota Kinta Balau on the island of Borneo for IBM.
He specializes in value based executive development and sales training. His vast experience and expertise as a facilitator has enabled him to fulfill his personal mission of contributing to the professional and personal lives and helping people throughout the world live and lead others to more balanced and productive lives.
